Roughly 8,700 fastback 7-Litres were produced. This example was ordered in Wimbledon White and has a black vinyl roof, and between 1993 and 1994 it was disassembled and restored. Corrosion was repaired at that time, including replacing parts of the frame rails.
Ford denoted the special model with special “7 Litre” badges on the fenders, trunk lid, and glove box door. The 15″ steel wheels have chrome-accented covers are mounted with 215/75 Cooper Trendsetter SE tires.
The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The rear shocks were replaced in 2023.
Trim code 82 specified medium blue “Rosette”-pattern vinyl vertical cushion strips and light blue “Crinkle”-pattern vinyl cushions and bolsters on the bucket seats. The car has a center console, woodgrain trim, and a push-button radio.

The 428ci Thunderbird V8 was rebuilt in 1991, and the manifold was removed and decked in 2017. In 2023 the points and condenser were replaced. From the factory it featured a four-barrel carburetor, hydraulic camshaft, two-bolt-main-bearing block, and 10.5:1 compression for an output of 345 horsepower and 459 lb-ft of torque.
The C-6 automatic is matched with a 2.80 limited-slip rear end. The mufflers were replaced in 2022.
