This 1967 Ford Mustang GTA coupe is said to have been acquired by the seller’s late father in 2006 and subsequently refurbished. It is powered by a 390ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is refinished in burgundy over Parchment vinyl. Equipment includes a white vinyl roof, 14″ styled steel wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, GT side stripes, fog lights, hood vents, front bucket seats, a cassette stereo, and air conditioning.
The car left the factory finished in Vintage Burgundy (X), and it was refinished around 2008. It has GT side stripes and features a white vinyl roof, a GT fuel cap, fog lights, hood vents, quad exhaust outlets, and bright bumpers. The brightwork was also refreshed during the aforementioned refurbishment and the exhaust tips were replaced.
The 14″ styled steel wheels were mounted in 2008 and are wrapped in 215/70 General Ameri TE tires with 2004 date codes. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the car is equipped with power steering.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Parchment vinyl, and appointments include an AM/FM/cassette radio, a floor console, and air conditioning.
The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 30k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 390ci Thunderbird Special V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated at 320 horsepower.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a C6 three-speed automatic transmission. The underside was refinished during the aforementioned refurbishment.
